Adimú to achieve what you want at the foot of Yemayá, the great mother water

Adimú to Yemayá

This is a special offering (adimú) to the Orisha Yemaya, lady of the waters, mother of all the Orishas, who symbolizes motherhood and universal fertility.

Great is her power in the Yoruba religion, represented by the immense sea, sometimes calm and other times furious like herself.

She is a great mother with her children and adores them, but like all deities, she does not like disrespect. He likes you to talk to him and more in his home, the vast blue ocean.

Whatever you request from Yemayá, you will get it, but as long as you address her with love and devotion.

Addimú with corn to the goddess of the sea, Yemayá:

This Addimú or Offering is located on top of the Yemayá tureen, in case you have not received the orisha, you can invoke it and I know that it will respond to you as every mother responds and takes care of her children.

Only in this case you use a candle and you will put your addimú in a quiet place, where no one can touch the offering to the great blue mother.

  • 7 ears of corn
  • White plate or clay pot
  • 2 large blue or white candles (for 7 days)
  • Corojo butter
  • Smoked fish
  • Smoked Jutía
  • Toasted corn
  • 7 Guinea pepper
  • molasses of caña
  • 7 cents

How to prepare the offering?

  1. First of all, you will wash the ears of corn to remove any negative energy that they may have collected on the way home.
  2. Then you will place them on the white plate or clay pot and you will light the candles during the ritual.
  3. You will ask Yemayá for your blessing and you will give him knowledge of your offering.
  4. You will spread with both hands, transmitting all your energy, corojo butter and at the same time making your request always with love and sweetness.
  5. On top of each ear of corn, you will add smoked fish, smoked hutía and roasted corn, and a guinea pepper on top of each.
  6. Then you will pour molasses of caña on top of the ears of corn and on top of each one you will put a penny, which symbolizes prosperity.
  7. You converse with Yemayá, touching her maraca and kneeling you will converse and meditate from the heart.
  8. Every day you will light the candles for a while, preferably at the same time and on the last day you let them burn.

After 7 days the work will go to the sea, if there is no sea nearby, I advise you to take it to a leafy tree that is not located in the city, but far away, in a quiet place away from noise. Remember to always thank the great mother water and ask her every day for her blessing.

May Yemayá give you everything you want!
