Dear friends, thousands of blessings. As the day of Our Lady of Regla approaches, on September 7, I feel a deep connection with my faith and my roots.

This day is not only a celebration, it is an opportunity to come together in spirit and renew our commitment to the Virgin of Regla, patron saint of the seas and protector of our homes.

Since I was a child, I have felt great emotion when this date arrives. I remember the devotion and the blue and white colors that filled the streets and the church of the Virgin of Regla in my Cuban homeland.

It is a time to stop, give thanks and ask with faith. Today I want to share with you some tips to celebrate this special day and honor the Virgin of Regla from the depths of our hearts.

1. Take white roses to the sea

One of the most beautiful ways to honor Our Lady of Regla is by taking white roses to the sea. This act symbolizes purity and devotion. By leaving them in the water, we can imagine that our prayers and thanks are carried by the waves to her altar.

2. Visit the church of the Virgin of Regla

If you are in Cuba and have the opportunity, visit the church of the Virgin of Regla. This sacred place is ideal for connecting more deeply with its energy. Light a blue candle and offer your intentions. It is a space of peace, where devotion is felt in every corner.

You can also go in front of the sea, which is its temple wherever we are in the world.

3. Pray and meditate with the heart

Take time for prayer and meditation. Allow your heart to be filled with peace as you reflect on the blessings you have received. Talk to Our Lady of Regla, share your joys and concerns. This intimate connection will help you feel her guidance and protection.
