El Convent of San Francisco de Asís, is one of the most beautiful architectural exponents of Old Havana, with an exquisite Baroque façade in clear cream tones, which highlights the passing of the decades since its foundation.
Its construction began in the year 1548 and lasted until 1591, but it was completely finished almost 200 years later, in 1738, due to the elaboration of its structure.
Its façade is located on Calle Oficios and contains three stone statues representing the Immaculate Conception, San Francisco de Asís and Santo Domingo de Guzmán.
