Recommendations and advice for the Ebbó Misi with Oshun
- Before the candles are spent you must take a bath.
- While performing the Ebbó Misi on behalf of Oshun, ask and give thanks for all the blessings received.
- The bath is always given from the neck down, leaving that water on the body when finished.
- Dress in white preferably after bathing.
How many baths should we take?
- It will take 5 baths in a row (one each day) or a bath every Saturday until completing 5 rituals.
The seeds will be left at the foot of Oshún just like the sunflowers, and you remove them after you have completed the 5 baths.
In case you are going to do it on Saturdays (once a week) put a sunflower in the name of Oshún in each ritual until completing the 5 flowers.
If you cannot go to the river, you must throw them away, and if you have received the Orisha, you must first ask what path she wants that offering to take.
Many blessings to you and may Oshun's blessing protect you every day.
