Here I come, almighty and eternal God, to the sacrament of your only begotten Son, my Lord Jesus Christ, as sick to the physician of life, as stained by the fountain of mercy, as blind in the light of eternal clarity, as poor and helpless to the Lord of heaven and earth.
So I beg your infinite goodness and mercy to heal my illness, cleanse my filth, illuminate my blindness, enrich my poverty and clothe my nakedness, so that I may receive the bread of the angels, the King of the kings, to the lord of lords,
