Humility is one of the main virtues that a religious must possess, because by being humble we are closer to fulfilling the word of God and facing life with a more accurate vision.

It is then necessary to search within our hearts for the purposes that mobilize our lives in order to prioritize our actions in order to obtain what we need.

What is the purpose of this powerful prayer?

With this sentence:

We ask for God's protection and guidance to overcome difficult times,
we seek in him the guide we need so as not to leave aside everything that we consider important and that we have obtained with sacrifice,
We thank with these verses for everything that has been entrusted to us and for the blessings received, which are never few when we can enjoy them with those we love.

Remind me, Lord, that sixty minutes make an hour, that every minute is important and that all life belongs to You.
Help me, Lord, to live in such a way that every night I can go to bed with a clean conscience, without feeling accused by the face of someone to whom I have caused pain.
Help me, Lord, to earn an honest living and, by doing so, be able to do to others what I would like them to do to me.
Deafen me Lord, to the sound of tarnished money.
Blind me Lord, so as not to see the faults of another; but show me mine.
Guide me Lord, so that every night I can sit in front of my wife, who has been one of the greatest blessings that You have given me, without having anything to hide from her.
Keep me Lord young enough to laugh with children and old enough to be considerate of the elderly.
And finally, Lord, when the day comes for my farewell to the smell of flowers, the soft walk and the soft crunch of the sand under my steps, order that the ceremony be short and that the epitaph be:
“A GOOD MAN PASSED HERE”.
